Christian Life Coaching is all about transformation. Transformation can be defined as “a thorough or dramatic change in form or appearance.”
Summertime is a season of gardening for many of us. But have you ever neglected your flowers a little too long? Suddenly you notice they look wilted and lifeless – and you wonder if they’ll perk up again or if they’re at the point of no return.
So you decide to give your flowers some much-needed attention. You provide life-giving water and sun and prune away the spent flowers. Your garden quickly transforms from wilting to thriving, full blooms!
Like a wilted flower blooming again, Christian Life Coaching offers a similar transformation. As gardening tools transform your flower garden, Christian Coaching transforms your clients’ lives through the power of the Holy Spirit! Because you are a Christian Coach, you’re not only equipped with practical coaching skills but also with unique spiritual insight to help your clients move from where they are to where God wants them to be.
For various reasons, clients will say they are not where they want to be. Things a client might say include:
· They feel directionless.
· God has placed a passion in their heart, but they don’t know how to achieve it.
· They need clarity.
· They want to improve their overall health and well-being but have failed in the past.
· They feel stuck.
Your clients want transformation!
2 Corinthians 3:17-18 says, “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.”
It’s the desire of God’s heart for your clients to live abundant lives. But, unfortunately, believing lies about God, their identities, their circumstances, etc., can all rob your clients of the free and thriving lives Jesus desires for them.
Abundant lives live in love and truth. Your training, skills, and gifting help your clients transform from feeling “wilted” to “blooming” in the life God has created them for!
